2. Overview

We process personal data only to the extent necessary to operate this website, answer your enquiry and carry out your booking. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies and do not create user profiles.

This policy follows the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Telecommunications and Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG). The German version is the authoritative one.

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Wix.com Ltd., 40 Namal Tel Aviv St., Tel Aviv 6350671, Israel (covered by the European Commission's adequacy decision for Israel). When you open a page, the provider processes technically necessary data on our behalf: IP address, date and time, page requested, volume of data transferred, browser type, operating system and the referring page.

The purpose is the secure and error-free delivery of the website. The legal basis is our legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Log data is deleted after a short period unless it is needed to investigate a security incident. A data processing agreement is in place with the provider.

4. Enquiry form

When you use the enquiry form, we process the data you enter: first name, last name, email address, WhatsApp number, preferred date, number of guests, occasion, package and your message. We use this data to answer your enquiry, make you an offer and prepare the booking. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual steps and performance of a contract).

To manage enquiries and reply to you by email, we use the contact management and inbox provided by Wix (Wix.com Ltd., 40 Namal Tel Aviv St., Tel Aviv 6350671, Israel; EU representative: Wix Online Platforms Limited, 1 Grant's Row, Dublin 2, D02 HX96, Ireland). Wix processes the data on our behalf. Israel is covered by an adequacy decision of the European Commission; any transfer to the USA is based on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

If no booking is made, we delete your enquiry once it has been fully dealt with and no statutory retention obligations apply. If you book, we store the data for the statutory retention periods under commercial and tax law (up to ten years).

5. Contact by WhatsApp, email and phone

The WhatsApp buttons on this website are plain links. A connection to WhatsApp is only made when you click a button. What you enter in the request assistant stays in your browser and is only transmitted when you send the prepared message in WhatsApp yourself.

If you write to us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland, processes your phone number, profile name and message content under its own responsibility; data may be transferred to Meta in the USA. We use your messages solely to handle your enquiry and booking (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). If you prefer not to use WhatsApp, you can reach us through the form, by email or by phone.

For our mailbox info@dreamnightistanbul.com we use Google Workspace from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google processes your emails and the details they contain on our behalf; data may be transferred to the USA on the basis of the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. We use your emails solely to handle your enquiry and booking (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

6. Booking, payment and local partners

To carry out your booking, we process your name, contact details, the booking details and payment information. No payment data is collected on this website. The deposit is paid by Revolut, Western Union or bank transfer; the respective payment services process your data under their own responsibility.

So that your tour can take place, we pass on the necessary details (name, date, time, number of guests, package and special requests) to our partners in Istanbul, in particular the yacht operator, the photographer and, where applicable, a restaurant. Turkey is a country outside the EU without an adequacy decision. The transfer is necessary for the performance of the contract with you (Art. 49(1)(b) GDPR).

7. Photos and video

During your tour, our photographer takes photos and video. This is part of the service you have booked (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). You receive the files through a download link from WeTransfer (WeTransfer B.V., Amsterdam, Netherlands). To do this, we upload the files to WeTransfer and provide your email address so the link reaches you. When you download, WeTransfer also processes technical data such as your IP address. The files are deleted once the download period has expired.

We show photos, videos and reviews of guests on our website and on social media only if you have given your explicit consent beforehand (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future; we will then remove the material without delay.

8. Cookies and browser storage

We do not use cookies for analytics or advertising. In your browser's storage (local storage) we store only your choice from the cookie notice, so that we do not have to ask you again on every visit. This storage is technically necessary (Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link at the bottom of the page.

9. Videos and external media

Most videos on this website are stored directly on our server; no data is passed to third parties. Where we embed videos from YouTube, they are loaded only after you have agreed to the External media category in the cookie notice. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. When a video loads, Google receives your IP address and may set cookies; data may be transferred to the USA (EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework). The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Section 25(1) TDDDG), which you can withdraw at any time in the cookie settings.

The fonts on this website are hosted locally. No connection to font providers' servers is made when pages load.

10. Your rights

You have the right to access the data we hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR), to rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20). You may object to processing based on our legitimate interest (Art. 21). You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3)). A message to info@dreamnightistanbul.com is sufficient.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), for example the authority at your place of residence or the authority responsible for us: [zuständige Datenschutzbehörde am Sitz des Unternehmens].

11. Required data, automated decisions and security

We need the details marked with an asterisk in the form in order to handle your enquiry; all other details are optional. No automated decision-making or profiling takes place. This website is transmitted in encrypted form over HTTPS.
